Ozone
(O3)
IS
- A fast, efficient
way to kill bacteria, mold, spores, mildew and
viruses by destroying the molecular cell wall
of the contaminant, generally within 8 to 48
hours.
|
IS NOT
- A synthetic chemical,
- An artificial replacement
odor,
- A sealer or paint
cover-up.
|
Ozone
can remove odors resulting from:
- Fire/Smoke
- Flooding
- Pets
- Crime Scene
|
- Heating Oil or other
Fuel Spills
- Sewer or Septic back-ups
or leaks
- Cigarette and Cigar
Smoke
|
| Unlike
other methods, the use of AOE Ozone generators do not
require physical scrubbing of the objects, so Ozone
is an especially efficient method of removing odors
from: |
- Walls
- Floors
- Ceilings
- Attics
- Crawlspaces
|
- Ductwork
- Carpeting
- Furniture
- Draperies and other
window coverings

Why
it Works...

Oxygen (O2) is a molecule
with two atoms of oxygen.

When excited by electricity
or UV rays, the oxygen splits into single atoms and then
re-combines into activated oxygen (O3) or ozone.

O3 is unstable and the third
atom escapes as soon as it can. It finds a pollution or
contaminant molecule and attaches to it.

The extra atom of oxygen penetrates
the wall of the contaminant molecule and breaks it down into
harmless atoms.
